2026/7 At our firm, we use AI extensively for checking original texts and drawings, as well as for responding to office actions.
2025/7 Mr. Watanabe, the representative of Ideadefence, gave a lecture on “Independent Inventors and Intellectual Property” at the Kobe Invention Research Association.
2025/4 Ideadefence has started using a paid AI account that doesn’t allow customer data to be used for machine learning. For now, AI is used for proofreading.

IP FILING SERVICE IN JAPAN
We offer patent, utility model, design and trademark filing services with the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
Our strength lies in the correct response to Office Actions (communication, notification of grounds for refusal), which makes your IP rights resilient to possible disputes.
Since Japanese Utility Model is quite different from that of China and other countries, we do not recommend filing a utility model in Japan.
